Do I have to pay full price when I book or is there a security deposit to book the date? You do not have to pay full price up front but you will have to pay full price before stepping onto the boat. There is a 10% security deposit to book the date, and if you cancel within 72 hours of your charter then you will lose that deposit.
-
Where do we board the yacht? You will board the yacht on the dock behind the Veliente Beach Resort & Waterpark. The address is 16107 FM 2769 Leander, TX 78641 ***There's two parking lots across the street from the waterpark. The one closer is $20, the one further away is $10. Once you park, you'll head towards the entrance to the waterpark, where either Dane or DJ will be waiting to escort you to the yacht. By booking through Texas Forever Charter everyone in your charter will also get a free wristband that gives you full access to the waterpark once you're charter with us ends.***
-
Will we have restrooms on the yacht?Yes, two restrooms are aboard the yacht. Note, the restrooms are extremely sensitive. Too much toilet paper, feminine products, or trash will clog the toilets which is a major issue that needs to be avoided and will be discussed during your safety briefing upon arrival.
-
Can we sit on the bow of the yacht while moving?Absolutely, we want you to sit wherever you desire. The view from the front is pretty special. You can also sit up top with the captains. Note, while we are underway you will not be able to move from the bow to the stern or the stern to the bow. Once you pick a spot you need to stay there until we come to a halt, for your safety.
-
Does the charter come captained?Yes, the yacht is captained by Dj and Dane
-
Where do we cruise to and anchor? We have several options on Lake Travis depending on desired experience. We offer one hour of drive time per 4 hour charter. A crowd favorite is Arkansas Bend. You get a little bit longer of a cruise to this location and the boats anchored here are more spread out which means more room for you and your party. Another thing to note, if you want to have access to the paddle board you will need to be at Arkansas Bend. Devils Cove is too crowded for the paddle board. Same goes for jumping off the top of the boat. Liability waivers will be signed by each passenger, but we also want to do our best to bring you home safely, while also having a good time.
-
Can we bring snacks and drinks?Yes, please bring drinks and snacks. Please refrain from anything too messy or that will stain. There is no cooking aboard. Ice and water are included with the charter. We also have a very large cooler but feel free to bring additional coolers.
-
Is the floating lily pad included?Yes! A big PINK one
-
What should we avoid bringing/wearing?Please no Jell-O shots or denim aboard as they permanently stain our white vinyl seats. Please wash bathing suits and towels before boarding for the same reason. Glass containers are not allowed to be on the lake according to local laws but can be kept in the cabin/kitchen of the yacht.
-
Does our yacht have a stereo system?Yes, we have a stereo on the yacht that you can connect via bluetooth or plug into via USB or AUX cable. Please bring your own cable if not an iPhone.
-
Can we decorate the boat for special occasions?Yes, you may decorate upon boarding as long as it is non permanate and easy to remove at the end of the charter.
-
Are pets allowed?A smaller breed dog is fine, if larger, please contact.
-
Are children allowed?Of course! Just make sure to bring an age appropriate life vest for your kids. Also, according to local laws, any child under 13 must wear their life vest at all times when not below decks.
